HOLA!
I’m Ignacia Hofmann, an art director with 15 years of experience working closely with directors and production teams. I develop visual direction, concepts and written treatments that build clear cinematic frameworks for film and commercial projects. I also work in a consultancy role on early-stage development, helping define the core idea, shape the concept and establish the narrative point of view.
My practice is based on visual thinking, writing and research, building narrative through references, composition and sequencing rather than isolated images. I use illustration, AI and other tools as part of the process, always in support of creative thinking and authorship, never as a replacement for it.
Alongside this, I maintain a personal painting practice that explores the relationships between nature, technology and consumer culture, and how these tensions shape contemporary visual language.
