In a city devastated by wildfires, Liz, a lonely content moderator, discovers that her virtual lover is a being trapped inside her computer. As the boundaries between the real and the digital begin to blur, Liz becomes obsessed with giving it a physical body through a bioprinter that uses human blood, risking her own humanity in the process.
